As part of Bradford’s year as UK City of Culture, we will be hosting a series of events for and by the local community.

    Hosted by Silver Finger Singh and the Connecting Roma Community. Come and join us in an Open mic night exploring cultural music, working in partnership  with  the  Roma community. Whether you play an instrument, sing or rap, we want your talent! 

    Hostiteľ: Silver Finger Singh a komunita Connecting Roma. Príďte sa k nám zúčastniť večera s otvoreným mikrofónom, ktorý skúma kultúrnu hudbu a spolupracuje s rómskou komunitou. Či už hráte na nejaký nástroj, spievate alebo rapujete, chceme váš talent! 

    Pořádá Silver Finger Singh a Connecting Roma Community. Přijďte a připojte se k nám na Open mic večeru, který zkoumá kulturní hudbu a pracuje v partnerství s romskou komunitou. Ať už hrajete na hudební nástroj, zpíváte nebo rapujete, chceme váš talent!

  • CONNECTING COMMUNITIES – BOWLING PARK

    Food, Fun, Arts and Crafts. A fun family event held during Refugee Week aimed at building bridges with  communities. 

    Come and engage in a family fun day aimed at all communities. With a variety of activties including facepaiinting, Mehndi, Moomin Arts and crafts and foods.

    Children need to be accompanied by an adult. Snacks and drinks available on the day.

  • Exploring Heritage

    Come and explore the traditions of  weaving, knitting and crochet. Learn about the traditions of Mendhi, explore  textiles art, crochet and visual Arts
